THIS THREE-MONTH PROGRAM GIVES YOU AMPLE TIME TO CRAFT AND POLISH YOUR STORY. 

We gather each Monday night at 6:30 Central to brainstorm, share, learn and support one another. There are lessons and exercises alongside shared readings with feedback. Our writing circle is only $10 per month. There is a one-time $25 fee for this project, which is added to your first month’s subscription. After that, it’s only $10 per month. Cancel at any time after the project is completed. (But we think you’ll want to stay. 😊)

We've never understood why some publishers' idea of feedback is, "This isn't what

we need right now," or even worse, "Your story has not been accepted." How do such

replies help the writing community? Standing here, at the edge of perception, we see 

your desire to craft an extraordinary tale. We want you to succeed, so we'll provide a

detailed, line edit and give you extra time to rework it.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Edge of Perception in conjunction with Crystal Heart Imprints is seeking submissions for our 2024 collaborative book, Mystic Memoirs: Beyond Belief Experiences, Volume 2. We are looking for original first-person accounts of your beyond-belief magickal experiences; the unexplained events that changed you in a profound way. 

General Guidelines:

We want your 3,000-5,000 words related to the real magick in your life. This book is dedicated to personal memoirs. Please keep your pieces to real-life personal accounts. You are welcome to use creative license to move your story along in action and dialogue or to fill in forgotten segments, but these are true-to-life stories only.

This weekly writing circle offers support, fun exercises and honest (helpful) feedback. It's only $10 per month. The Cozy Mystery Project is an additional $25 for each of the three parts: Story Development, Writing & Editing, Proofing and Publishing.

Join us Mondays nights at 6:30 Central. You don't have to attend every Monday evening if you have a conflict. The cost is $25 for the project, and $10 per month for the writing circle. When you join, you'll be added to our private Facebook group focused on feedback, questions, and updates.

This is Part 2 of writing a cozy mystery. We will discuss characters, story arcs, keeping it simple yet productive and cement a writing pracitce. We'll also share our concerns and writing struggles as we brainstorm and craft our novels. A cozy mystery is typically 50-60,000 words.
