The energy in these events is extreme. Prepare for change!
Imagine a place of today—or remember a time—where the Deities reign over the many cultures of this Earth. Think powerful, but not perfect. Some have particular niches they support, and others can do almost anything. They are bored and just waiting for someone to come along and seduce them into doing a favor.
If you could pull ANY mythic god or goddess from ANY story and ask them nicely to change something in your life (or the world) WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Or would you trick them? Seduce them with the one thing they can’t resist, but what you need to rid the world of experiencing?
If you could remake one thing in this world, and set your soul free, what would it be?
Remember, all writing is memory: memory of things that happened in this life, other lives, other dimensions or memories that are yet to be formed.
Forge the world anew and release a powerful new vision of life!
In all the book collaboration projects we've seen, feedback only comes at the end, with one opportunity to change things or learn from the suggestions. We've built it into our anthology because we know how eager writers are to get as many eyes on their work as possible. The most famous authors have teams of people reviewing their work before it heads to the publishing house, beta readers and editors. When you submit your story, you'll receive a detailed review to make it shine before offering your final submission. ($450 value.)
You'll learn all the ins and outs of a book launch to utilize for the rest of your writing career! It starts with a great book, true, but there are concrete steps to take after that when publishing on Amazon.
We help dozens of people make this leap each year through supportive workshops and writing programs. It starts by removing all the myths that surround the work of becoming an author or taking your writing to the next level. It's like unraveling a mummy at times- layer after layer of false beliefs have to be removed. These false beliefs exist for a reason, though.
Writing is a craft, an artform. You wouldn't ask a glass artist to present a masterpiece the first time they pick up the blowpipe. Or the second, or the third. Each time they practice, they improve. Every time you sit down to write, you are getting better. And that goes for reading, as well. Just reading a book really does make you a better writer. But when you add in the exploration of what makes a good story great, when you demystify the process and break things down into manageable parts, your writing will improve at a much faster rate.
Have you ever stopped to think about how we humans are a storytelling species? We've been sharing stories around the fire since we first left the caves, and even before that. Over 30,000 years ago, our ancestors carved the story of a volcanic eruption deep inside a French cavern, and we're still reading that story today! When publishing shops first sprang up, they sought out the local stories told in the pubs, by grandmothers in the deep winter, and unique versions of fairy tales. Every household had them.
Telling the tale is in your DNA, and just because publishing giants started gobbling up everything they could get their hands on until only a few remain to make all the decisions of what we can buy in a bookstore doesn't change the fact that you inherited a love of story tales and storytelling. As much grief as Amazon has earned for becoming the world's general store, they did help bring storytelling back to the everyday person, where it has always belonged.
